Dan and Cam first met during their third year apprenticeship, initially forging a strong friendship that soon led to starting a business together – Co.Create Constructions. Based upon our shared values around family, the power of good communication and the belief that building strong relationships with clients is the key to successful project outcomes.
Put simply – we bring the Co in Communication and Collaboration to every project.
The significance that a new build or renovation plays in our clients’ lives is never forgotten and we consider it a privilege to be engaged on your project. We work alongside our clients from start-to-finish to ensure their vision is executed precisely throughout every stage of the build.
With over a decade of experience in the industry as carpenters, building surveyors, site managers and project managers, you can trust our team completely whether it's a small bespoke project or larger, high specification architectural construction.
Directors
Cameron Oates
Cam’s education and experience rounds out the Co.Create leadership team with an Advanced Diploma in Building Surveying and Certification. Working as an assistant Building Surveyor prior to commencing an apprenticeship provided hands-on experience in a valuable area of expertise. Cam has also previously worked as a carpenter, supervisor and project manager on high-end renovation, retail fit-out and large commercial projects.
At Co.Create, Cam liaises with Architects, clients and consultants as part of his site and project management duties, while keeping everyone safe by maintaining a high level of OH&S standards.
Daniel Calman-Orr
Dan brings a wealth of varied experience with him, having previously worked as a carpenter, supervisor and project manager with some of Melbourne’s leading architectural builders.
He has also worked as a site manager in Melbourne, Regional VIC and NSW with an industry-leading modular builder, completing projects across the residential, commercial and government sectors.
At Co.Create, Dan is responsible for keeping the business ticking along, while also handling the estimating, trade procurement and quality assessment.
